On November 10 and 11 Lottozero is celebrating the opening of their brand new textile lab with three days of workshops, exhibitions, talks and performances. If you’ve never been to this interdisciplinary art and co-working space in Prato, now is the time!

Lottozero, founded in 2016, is a center for textile art, design and culture that focuses on research and experimentation, seeking to create a bridge and a dialogue between the public, the cultural scene and the industrial ecosystem of the city. At MAKE LOTTOZERO, the 2-day the launch party of their textile lab, Lottozero will invite the public to experiment with their own creativity by testing Lottozero’s new machinery and techniques. A series of activities and workshops will demonstrate the different possibilities of using machines, such as silk-screen printing on fabric, an approach to knitwear that combines traditional techniques and new opensource technologies, the ancient Shibori technique with natural dyes and the foundations of manual weaving and heat press printing.

Beyond the workshops, there will be an action-packed schedule including exhibition openings, a concert and much more!

Creative People in Florence will be there on November 10th to celebrate with Lottozero, try out the machinery, join the workshops and have an aperitivo with all of you! All are welcome to join to check out this fantastic space and meet the dynamic team behind the ambitious project. As an added bonus, if you mention CPiF (or the hashtag #creativepeople) you will have access to special discounts including 10% off membership and multiple lab entry packages!
