There’s a new art space in town, and we couldn’t be more excited about it! Numeroventi, housed in a 16th century palazzo in Via dei Pandolfini, hosts artist residencies, exhibitions, photo shoots and co-working in their stunningly renovated spaces. This Sunday, March 26, the innovative duo behind Numeroventi, Martino di Napoli Rampolla and Alessandro Modestino Ricciardelli will open the doors to the public for Ten Spaces, a one-day event featuring site-specific art and design installations by ten artists–including a few familiar CPiF faces! Artists and designers include RMOGRL8120, David Hartono and MONOGRID, Pattern Nostrum, Lottozero, Marisa Garreffa, Anna Rose, Duccio Maria Gambi, Lorenzo Brinati, Muriel Parra, Valerio Bellini and Michelle Davis.

Numeroventi is glad to announce the opening of 5 new spaces to encourage creative exchange, boost and support artists’ output, and showcase their work to the public. In addition to the 5 spaces already open, visitors returning to the space will experience Room 3, the New Co-Working Office, the Daylight Photography Studio and Kitchen, and The Top Floor.
Numeroventi is housed within Palazzo Gallatassi (1510), renovated in Scandinavian minimalist style to maximise the use of light and space within the rooms. Opened less than 1 year ago, they have hosted 4 long-term artistic residencies with exhibitions open to the public, and special events have included a video mapping workshop, a launch for Studio Pretzel for Pitti Uomo, and multiple video and photography shoots for fashion and design.
For this event, 10 artists and designers have been invited to share their work as site specific installations, which they will produce during residencies at Numeroventi. They are exploring multidisciplinary arts from sculpture to textiles, and working with marble, cement, graphite, hair, pattern design, and geometric abstract installations.

La galleria Numeroventi è ospitata all’interno di Palazzo Gallitassi (1510); arredata in stile minimalista scandinavo per ottimizzare l’uso di luce e spazio all’interno delle camere e aperta meno di 1 anno fa, ha già ospitato 4 residenze artistiche a lungo termine con mostre aperte al pubblico ed eventi speciali, tra cui un video laboratorio di mappatura, un lancio di Studio Pretzel per Pitti Uomo e molti video e servizi fotografici per moda e design.
Per questo evento, 9 artisti e designer sono stati invitati a sviluppare le installazioni site specific prodotte durante le loro residenze settimanali a Numeroventi. Gli artisti invitati lavorano su più discipline, dalla scultura all’installazione, dal disegno al pattern design alla danza, ed utilizzano materiali diversi, tra cui marmo, cemento, vernici, grafite, capelli e tessuti.
The launch of 10 spaces: Numeroventi aggiunge un altro tassello alla costruzione di un nuovo mondo creativo a Firenze e alla formazione di una comunità, offrendo uno spazio per sognare, immaginare, re-immaginare e di creare. La mostra sarà aperta tutto il giorno, a partire dalle 11:00.
