We recently met up with Naomi Tagooka of Tago Design to learn more about her work and her reasons for choosing Florence to develop her collection of handbags and accessories.

Fusion, stylish, practical, kawaii, quality
What makes Florence the right place for your brand?
I can see the high quality works of the Italian craftsman and designers here. This makes my increases my motivation, creativity and imagination. Also I can get natural Italian leathers which are produced here. And I like living and working in Florence!
At CPiF we celebrate collaboration between creatives. Are you working on any collaborative projects at the moment, or are you looking for people to work with in the future?
Yes, maybe. I’m interested in collaboration with other artists who are interested in Japanese culture or mixed materials.
Who are your favorite local designers and/or artisans that everyone should know about?
Cisei, a Japanese bag designer in Florence.
