Gift Guide for At-home Fashion: from Loungewear to Living room Dance Parties

While our relationship with sweatpants and pajamas is getting stronger by the day, we know how important it is to mix it up once in a while and actually get dressed. When thinking about your holiday gifts this year, why not give that friend or loved one a special touch of fashion to add to their at-home wardrobe? We’ve come up with a list of suggestions to seamlessly add into any lockdown schedule, from lounging on the couch, to Zoom meetings with the office, to festive video chats with friends. Be sure to read all the way to the end for an exclusive offer just for you and the CPiF community!

Hello, Wonderful! is a picture-perfect atelier in the Oltrarno whose motto is We love to make you feel wonderful! We could all use a little more of that these days, right? What we love about their collections is that they can be styled for any occasion, from casual days in to elegant nights out (or nights in, these days). Right now we are in love with these new lounge jackets, which are so easy to throw on right before that video chat you forgot about! Once we can all venture out a little more, these jackets (some of which also have matching trousers!) will make a fabulously fun cross-seasonal staple in any wardrobe. Jackets start at €99. Shop on line and follow @shophellowonderful for the latest styles.

Effortless style is what comes to mind when we think of Bastah, the Tuscany-based clothing brand designed by Natasha Kontic. We absolutely recommend taking a spin through the website to see the full collection, but we’ve selected a few pieces that can transition from couch time to a passeggiata in centro. We love the line of Tel Bastah Capes, which come in a variety of warm and cozy colors and fabrics. They can be also be worn in 4 different ways, so you can reinvent the look as you choose. Oh, and an added bonus, they are all on sale right now starting at €67! We couldn’t help but include a few other favorites in the slide show, like the Darlene Skirt (on sale for €75) and the Quena wool double-face reversible vest (on sale for €88). Shop on line or follow on Instagram to keep up with Bastah.

The artistry behind fashion designer Eva di Franco‘s work is undeniable. From concept to execution, each piece is influenced by minimal geometric forms and the designer’s timeless yet fashion-forward aesthetic. We love these pieces whether you’re heading out for your daily walk or for a big night out, even if that’s just in the living room these days. Since masks will be must-have accessory for a while longer, we say go for a show-stopping fringe version. With adjustable elastic, a filter pocket and a nose clip, it is fully functional and oh-so-fabulous (€30). It also happens to pair perfectly with the Fringe Dress, which has a relaxed fit, fringed sleeves and a built in hood (€220). We also love the versatile Winged Dress in 100% wool (€75). Also with a relaxed fit, one size fits most. For more, follow Eva di Franco on Instagram or shop on line.

Lunaria is a brand new project launched by footwear and clothing label New Kid. This new offshoot of the brand specializes in fun ice-dyed clothing and accessories, perfect for adding a little excitement to your growing loungewear collection. Designer Rachel Beagley takes advantage of the unpredictable dying process to ensure that each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. We love the super stretchy Haus Pants (€45) with a very comfortable elastic waistband (yes, we speak from experience!) and the fun, splashy socks in all different colors (€15). Be sure to keep a close eye on the online shop, new products (including scarves and home decor) are added often!

If you followed along with our events calendar over the summer, then you know how much fun we had collaborating with designer Tijana Stankovic to bring the Tiche Synergia exhibition series to life. Now we want to turn to your attention to the polished, easy to wear styles of the brand Tiche, We love the mission of the brand to design effortless silhouettes that celebrate the feminine figure for women of all ages. For these in-between times, we love the Obi Ruggine wide-legged pants (€155) and the versatile Kimono tops (€165), which come in several different prints and solids. Don’t even get us started on her gorgeous coats…treat yourself when conditions allow and stop by the Tiche atelier in Via San Zanobi to try a few things on. Until then, shop on line here.
