Black, White, and Flowers all over! CPiF Photoshoot Collaboration

Kristhel Jimenez in Sara Amrhein jewerly and Suite fashion.Creative People in Florence is all about collaboration. When we formed the group in 2011, our goal was to bring artists together to help and support one another professionally. Five years later we are growing and changing, but one thing remains: we are always looking for ways to support contemporary art and design in Florence.

A team of our members recently got together to collaborate on a photoshoot, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Read on to meet the team! We also invite you to take a look at each one of our collaborator’s websites and give ’em a follow or a like to show your support for all things creative in Florence!

And remember, if this looks like something you might like to be involved in, or if you have an idea for a great creative project, get in touch with CPiF members and start planning–that’s what the group is for! Post your ideas in our Facebook group, tweet them out to the CPiF community, and get inspired by our members’ work on our Instagram account.

Our amazing photographer Olga Makarova, from weddings, to lifestyle, to fashion, Olga is an incredibly talented photographer who also happens to be delightful. Take a look at her work and be prepared to be blown away.

Our hair stylists Antonio Iacoucci and Leo Telaku worked some incredible magic and gave our models a 60s inspired look while still keeping it contemporary and fun. You can find Antonio and Leo at Salon Contrasto‘s walk-in salon and blow bar on the corner of Via di Neri and Via della Mosca.

Our makeup artist Antonellina Ginger Gruppillo of Ginger Make Up and Beauty  gave our girls their striking 60s inspired eyeliner, luscious lips, flawless looks. Antonellina is available for photoshoots, weddings, and special occasions of all kinds. She is an absolute pleasure to work with!

Next, the fabulous fashion comes from the amazing, delightful, and genuinely sweet, Jennifer Diederich of Suite. She has a beautiful line of classic silhouettes that she custom makes to fit you perfectly. High-quality handmade craftsmanship. She also participated on Season 5 of Project Runway. What’s not to love?

Our graphic backdrop and black and white mixed pattern dresses were accompanied by the bright, colorful, and whimsical jewelry designs of Sara Amrhein (That’s me!). All hand sculpted with clay and mixed media materials. The designs are unique and sophisticated and can also be customized especially for you. Sara is also the co-founder of Creative People in Florence and loves collaborations.

And of course our amazing models! Eva Davidova, Sofia Antonielli, and Kristhel Jimenez. What a stellar job you all did! We loved working with you, and we are so proud to have you represent all of our work. We couldn’t have done it without you! Beautiful, elegant, sophisticated. Thank you!

A great photoshoot means lots of planning and behind-the-scenes organization, from choosing a great theme, to organizing the team, styling the set, fitting the clothing, and styling the models with hair and makeup. Anna Rose, our other CPiF co-founder made all this possible by making sure that every detail was exactly as it should be throughout the shooting process. She was assisted by interns Alexandra Wong and Ursula Bustamante who have been so wonderful helping CPiF this past fall season.

Here is the full slideshow! Enjoy! and of course we would love to know what you all think – tell us in the comments section below!
