Holiday parties, family gatherings, get-togethers with friends…’tis the season for getting festive! If you’re still puzzling over those last minute gifts, we have a few suggestions to help you finish off your holiday list. All products featured here are hand made by local artists, designers and artisans in Florence. Take a look–you might even find something for yourself. From us here at CPiF, we wish you a very happy holiday season!

Looking for a great way to change up your look? We love these hats by designer Joëlle Lorenzetti of Joës Making. From chic berets, to glamorous headscarves to fun bucket hats, there are options for everyone on your list. Even better, you can even customize your own hat with options like waterproof fabric, cotton, wool, eco fur or eco leather. Contact Joëlle directly on Instagram to purchase: @joesmaking.

We recently came across Dreams of Eve, the jewelry collection by designer Rhiannon King, and we can’t get enough of it! The minimalist design of these pieces carries a strong message of body positivity and the celebration of all sizes–a subtle way to make a statement or start a conversation. To snag a piece (or two!) for your holiday gifts, visit The Dreams of Eve Etsy shop, or reach out to Rhiannon via direct message on Instagram @thedreamsofeve.

Ceramist Kirstie Mathieson of Little Acorns Pottery is based in the Tuscan countryside, in a little nook under the grand forest of Vallombrosa. Using stoneware clay, she hand makes all of her pieces on the wheel or uses slabbing techniques in her studio. We’ve included a few of our favorites here, but there are so many wonderful objects in her collection, you should go take a look up close. You can find Kirstie and her work at The Fierucola market in Piazza Santissima Annunziata in Florence on the 19th of December. Kirstie is also available for commissioned work, please contact her directly via email (kirstielovesart@hotmail.com) to discuss your ideas. Follow along with her work on Instagram (@kirstielovesart) and Facebook (littleacornspottery), or shop online through her website www.littleacornspottery.com.

For a versatile, refined bag for your essentials, look no further than the gorgeous leather bags by Samba Artigianale. Designer Priscila Lira hand makes each piece in top-quality leather in her fantastic studio in Via Sant’Agostino 17r, right in Santo Spirito . For your gifts this year, we love the Rio Mini Bag or the Nadi Micro Bag. Take a look below, or even better stop by to choose your favorite. You can also purchase her work on her website (www.sambaartigianale.com). Be sure to also follow her on Instagram to take a look behind the scenes @samba.artigianale.

A scarf is always a welcome gift, especially one from this new collection by designer Eva di Franco. In fun color combos and a range of soft cozy yarns, there is one for everyone on your list. If you don’t see the one you’re looking for, contact Eva for a custom order (info@evadifranco.com). You can shop online (www.evadifranco.com) or in-person by appointment (evadifranco@gmail.com, or by direct message on Instagram (@evadifranco_timelessclothing). If you stop by her Open Studio this weekend (December 11-12) you’ll find these scarves at the special price of €35!
